For my undergraduate Thesis, I have been tasked - as part of a group - to research, design, and demonstrate a viable proof-of-concept of a new manufacturing system as smart solution which utilises technology which embodies Industry 4.

For this design project, a group of other students and I were tasked with designing and assembling part of a transmission system of a winch for a given hypothetical situation. Provided with input parameters and tasked with attaining desired output metrics, the system of gears and the shaft in which they were mounted on were designed using Solidworks.

A group of other university student and I were tasked with designing, manufacturing and assembling a pneumatic vertical displacement pump to inflate and pop a balloon.

A group of students and I were tasked with designing and assembling a stirling engine to be powered solely by a tealight candle. Provided with the option of several off-the-shelf components, the rest of the components requiring machining from sheet metal or PVC to be laser cut.
